The Supreme Court has somehow passed a law forcing all States to allow gay couples to receive marital status. It was my understanding that only the Legislative Branch could do such a thing, but hey, you learn something new every day, Jack.

Now it's time to ask that question made famous by Martin Luther: What does this mean? What this means is that the American Federal Government is lawless. When branches of the Government start grabbing new authorities and abilities that were never granted to them by law that means they are acting outside of the law and therefore lawless. This is how oppression begins. The difficult part for those of us who are fully aware of what is happening is getting the idea across that ultimately we don't give a crap about the gay marriage thing. That is such a minor issue. Yes, I think homosexuality is wrong, but I respect the fact that other people have views that differ from my own. And politically, we welcome people of all faiths and views into our country, so I understand that everyone will not believe the same thing as I do. And that's fine, but when I am written off as a bigot because I don't think the Supreme Court should act unlawfully that makes my life a little more difficult.

(To solve the gay/straight marriage issue, all we have to do is eliminate the government from everyone's marriage. Simple. And, if we want to solve about 75% of our problems we can cut tax breaks completely and do a flat/fair tax. But that’s another day!)

So where is this decision going to lead? Well, it's pretty obvious. Look at the news it's happening already. The Government is going to start targeting individuals and churches that won't marry whom the government says they need to marry. Churches are going to be pressed against a wall and will have to decide whether they want to stay true to their beliefs and face severe consequences or fold. And trust me, most churches will crumble immediately.

This arouses fear in most people. It's scary to think the Government will be able to push the church around. And unfortunately separation of church and State will not save us. (That only seems to work for the left.) But I am here to tell you "Fear not!" says the Lord. (Isiah 41) How little is our faith? Do we think that the Lord is not more powerful than our government? We cower in fear, while we should be proclaiming God's truth. (Acts 20:13-38) That is our calling right? Proclaim the truth out of LOVE and GRACE. Not out of judgement and distaste--we must remember that. Be firm but be loving, like a father to his son. So please don't go hold signs and yell at the top of your lungs that God's judgement is coming. That's not your job. Your job is to yell at the top of your lungs that Christ’s mercy and love have come! Do not be afraid to say homosexuality is a sin and all sins require repentance, but remember that we too sin constantly and must repent as well. We are not here to judge but to spread the Truth and the Gospel out of love.

On a more political level, we must stop living in fear of our churches losing their tax exempt status. The church has been here for nearly 2000 years. It's not going to disappear if Americans lose tax exemption. Don't be such drama queens! In fact, I think churches should refuse their tax exemption. As soon as a Federal ruling comes down that is contrary to our beliefs it puts the church in a position to consider whether they will act against the government or act against their beliefs. And as soon as the church asks themselves that question they have failed to stay true. There is no question. We stand with God, not with the unlawful. Tax exemption allows the government into our faith like a dangerous wedge that can be used to separate us from our faith in desperate times.

Subsequently, when faced with the government encroaching on our rights how should we respond? I argue that we should respond by simply ignoring what is unlawful and continue acting in good faith to Christ. What is the purpose of taking the government to court? Firstly, the court is an extension of the unlawful government. That alone makes it seem pointless. Secondly, we don't need permission from the government to live faithful lives. By taking the issues to court do we not imply that the government has the authority to rule over our religious beliefs? If a rival sports team told your team that you did not have the right to practice your sport would you go to the rival team's school and argue before their board that you do have that right? Or would you simply practice as you always have? The rival school has no authority to tell you that you cannot practice your sport. Just like the Federal Government has no authority to tell us that we cannot practice our faith. By taking the Government to court, we give the Government more power.

Keep faith, read your Bibles, and pray. Keep this life in perspective. Look to the Coptic Christians for an example. The Christians in Egypt are dying because of their faith. They are being shot, beheaded, and crucified. Men, women, and children. Fathers are being forced to watch as their children are lined up and told to renounce their faith. And one by one, the children refuse and are killed. Sons are being beheaded and the videos are being watched by their mothers. Woman are being raped and sold into sex slavery to the highest bidder. And all the while they praise the name of God who has purchased their souls with His blood. They rejoice that in their loved one’s dying moments they proclaimed the name Jesus, and they forgive the murders. Some of them to their faces! Do we possess that faith, America? Do we possess any faith at all? We have lost perspective. We have lost our way. Get back onto the path. Stop waiting for God to send something extraordinary and be extraordinary. Be love.

It is time the the Conservatives of this country organize. It is time to find others around you with similar beliefs. It is time to work together to accomplish something great.
We must take time out of our busy lives and give them to this country in order to rescue it from the immoral and corrupt society that has come to reside in it. We are a political army. Our weapons are our voices. And our armor is the constitution. Do not let the progressive hive take these away from you. Use them constantly and remember it is best to have reinforcements and a battle plan.

Recently, Glenn Beck called for the defunding of the GOP, and it was received with great enthusiasm. The idea came in response to a story about the Speaker of the House, Representative John Boehner. The corruption of the GOP seems to know no bounds. But is calling for the defunding of the GOP really the right option? Is this the best strategy with which Conservatives can change their country for the better? I am not convinced. Perhaps the GOP is so corrupt that our only option is to destroy it, I am not saying that is not a possibility. However, I am asking the question: Is this the best time and place to begin calling for the defunding of Conservatives. Please do not misread this question as rhetorical. This is an honest question. Should we as Conservatives simply take to politics in a "purist" fashion? Or should there be some sort of alternate strategy? Will this increasingly powerful grass-roots party hurt or help itself with these strategies? These are questions that need to be considered.

I wanted to share this story from the Blaze. I am a big fan of the Blaze. While I don't necessarily agree with Glenn Beck on everything, I respect him. He is an honest man, and fights hard for his beliefs. I trust his reporting staff more than any others. I would encourage you to go take a look.
Anyway, Jay Carney is possibly the most hollow human being in existence. There is no substance to him. Every time I hear him speak I can see Obama's lips move. He is a puppet and he makes me sick. I pray to God that he will see justice in his lifetime.

I am distraught. It is hard not to feel somewhat broken. Take note of these moments because America will remember them. America will remember these moments as the time we stood idly by and watched our country crash into oblivion. If this was war America would act swiftly, but because this battle is political we are sleeping while the domestic enemy surrounds our camp with bayonets fixed waiting to plunge their blades deep into our hearts. We are asleep while great men like Senator Ted Cruz stands in defiance before Emperor Obama and his corrupt, liberal, anti-America minions. This is the moment America fights back or dies. If we as a country do not act, then our country will cease to exist.

America, open your eyes. John Kerry is preparing to sign an international arms treaty. America’s right to arms is being infringed all over the place. And Americans are trying to justify it with ‘common-sense’ that stems from fear alone. Does America know the definition of the word infringed? They must not.

Infringe: to commit a breach or infraction of; violate or transgress; to encroach or trespass.

And just to be completely clear I will also share the complete second amendment.

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

We, the people, have the right to keep—that is to be in possession of—and bear—that is to carry—Arms—that is short for armaments. And that right, shall not be infringed—that means it cannot be violated or even encroached upon. The federal government does not have the right, as defined by the very documents that formed it, to even limit the armaments of the American people.

America, please, educate yourselves. Refresh your memory. Preach on the streets like Jesus himself that this country needs to turn around. After all, is not the constitution America’s Bible? Is not Americanism and capitalism the national religion of America? We have turned to false idols and are worshiping other gods. America, turn around before real freedom is wiped off the face of the earth.

Stand up America. We have the privilege to fight for liberty and freedom. And we don’t even have to pick up a weapon. Be loud. Be persistent. Be stubborn. Fight back.

“People shouldn't be afraid of their government. Governments should be afraid of their people.” Many of us have heard this quote from the movie "V for Vendetta", and many of us believe it. After all, is this not the exact reason Americans are guaranteed an uninfringed right to firearms? However, this is not the fear I want from my government. If our government fears an uprising, then we have already allowed them to wander too far. What the government should fear are our voices and votes. We need to be loud. We need to be firm. Politicians should fear that their actions will have consequences because the American people are watching. They should. But do they? Are the American people even watching? I can't be sure. If the American people were watching our government and seeing what I see, then why have I not been deafened by their over-whelming cries? I cannot believe how silent we are. Our forefathers would be ashamed of us. They would look us in the eyes, spit in our face, and call us lazy, spoiled, cowards. We do not deserve to even associate with such great men. America, it is time to earn your stripes. It is time to fight desperately and viciously for our God-given liberties. Not with our guns, but with our voices and votes. It is time for our government to fear public humiliation and recall because the people are watching.
Get loud America.
"Liberty, the greatest of all earthly blessings -- give us that precious jewel, and you may take every thing else! Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect every one who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are inevitably ruined."
- Patrick Henry (June 5, 1778)

The United States is going to send our troops to Syria for a pipeline that benefits the Arabs who are funding our war. That's right John Kerry said that "an Arab country" is financially supporting our entry into Syria. Understanding that please read this incredibly important article:
Is The United States Going To Go To War With Syria Over A Natural Gas Pipeline?

I was talking with a friend of mine the other day, actually it was Founder's Keeper our long lost Angry Elephant blogger, about why is it that we can easily be friends with athiests and homosexuals when we are Christians and morally or religiously disagree with them, while we tend to struggle to befriend progressives. It seems strange. Why is it that I find it easier to relax around people who disagree with my most important and strongest belief than it is to be around those who disagree with me politically?

I think it comes down to faith. There are many religions that supply an answer for all of life's questions and while I would argue that Christianity is a 'proven' religion, being that the Bible aligns with history and things along those lines, faith is required. Where as politics exist in such a concrete manner that perhaps it frustrates me because I feel like fact and reality are being ignored. Politics should be a science, ergo political science, but it is not or at least it is not treated that way. There is too much corruption in politics. There are too many people trying to grab more and more money and control. I believe that if we could eliminate those people we would see that scientifically a conservative country is a more successful country and perhaps that is why I struggle.

I do want to append a note saying that I am friends with a lot of liberals and democrats, but it requires patience and respect on both sides, as any relationship that exists where fundamental disagreements exist.

I saw this on The Pat & Stu Show today and I thought it was a hilarious example of the stupidity that is Common Core. Read about it here.

I found this little test interesting. I took this test to see if I am left brained or right brained. And the outcome slightly surprised me. Take a look and try for yourself!
